Tobacco Labelling Resource Center

June 28, 2013

David Hammond’s Tobacco Labelling Resource Centre website contains materials designed to help promote effective, evidence-based labeling policies for tobacco. Resources include: a gallery of images of health warnings, focusing on pictorial warning labels; pack images by country, brand and feature design; and information about plain packaging. A downloadable Tobacco Labelling and Packaging Toolkit is available to simplify the process of developing effective labelling policies and to provide concrete resources for regulators, researchers and tobacco control advocates. It includes a review of evidence and detailed recommendations for designing, implementing and evaluating health warnings on packages. The website was developed with the support of the Framework Convention Alliance and the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.
