A new investigation into British American Tobacco (BAT)’s operations in Zimbabwe unearthed an apparent conspiracy to pay bribes to Robert Mugabe, the country’s notorious dictator. Multiple sources have confirmed that BAT was aware of discussions to facilitate a large payment for the purpose of continuing its alleged corporate espionage activities in the country.
